Home Sweet Home

Well, we are officially members of our ward here in casa grande. we actually live in our house now!! we got all moved in by saturday morning around 10 am. which was nice because it gets hot here! it is nicer than phoenix area because it doesnt stay as hot during the evening and its much cooler in the morning. the daytime temps usually are slightly higher than the valley though. its so fun unpacking all our things, and enjoying this big spacious place thats all ours! no apartment anymore, our own garage, everything is so nice. and whats more exciting is that my family (mother, sister, father, and neice and nephew) are moving down here next month!!! only a few small blocks away! and mary might come down for the fall semester, so thats nice too, and at christmas people will flock to us like the salmon of capistrano! Anyways, thats whats goin on here. we're getting a garage door opener installed tomarrow, and our stove and washer/dryer come tomarrow too! i think we broke the little hose on the fridge where we get water, not cool! i might try to superglue it. during the move i think the fridge ran it over. anyways, kitty is loving the place. she loves the windows and open spaces. We like it too;) Well thats it for today!

Just a few more hours!

Well, we should be closing at 3 pm. i am slightly nervous right now because there is a hiccup, jeane says that the funds must be fully transferred by noon tomarrow, but derrick the lender said he doesnt control what time they are transferred, jeane says there could be big problems if its not there by noon. what kind of problems? i mean we will have been closed ? can they do anything if we've already signed the papers? that worries me. hopefully its not anything. derrick says hes sick of jeane and all her bs. she is full of bs. i think she has a power trip goin on. anyways, derrick said everything is going normal for the loan and there isnt anything unusual. so jeane was going to call derrick , and i we havnt heard back from him... we are planning on spending the night in casa grande!! i am very excited. it will be a pretty empty house, but it will be our house. i will post pictures asap! if you want my address, leave a comment with your email, and i will email it to ya. i dont know how safe it is to publish it. not like its hard to find, crack the case of where i live... i'd love to have visitors if any body comes in the area! well wish us good luck! here we go!!

You say goodbye, I say Hello!

So, our fourth of july was pretty good. we first parked our car along this road in the dirt, because there were a bunch of other cars there, so we thought we'd have a pretty good view of the fireworks, but we waited forever! and then the show started and it was WAY far away, we couldnt even hear the boom really from the fireworks, so we watched for a while, and then we kinda were like "are you having fun?" and decided to try to get closer, or go somewhere else, so we got on the freeway, and it was WAY backed up. just one lane, it was like stopped. right next to the fireworks, it was great! i think people were purposly going like 4 mph. didnt really hear the great 4th of the july songs, i missed that! the radio down here didnt play them! at least i couldnt find them. i did hear a military country american song... "brought to you coutesy , of the red white and blue". and today we will find out if we close on the house tomarrow or friday!!! its getting SO CLOSE. i cannot wait! oh and today we test drove a Kia Sorento, i liked it actually, it was very smooth, and it would be great for hauling yard stuff, and if we got any new furnishings, and brand new for under 20k. we could sell the maxima and get that and our payment would be like the same. it was actually very sturdy feeling, i was surprised i liked it so well.
well we'll post pictures when we get into the house!Goodbye Mesa, Hello Casa Grande!! i am very excited to get to casa grande, much quieter there, and we'll have our own backyard, and garage, and wont have to travel for coin laundry! laundry in our own house! i've always liked that idea.

You must believe there are miracles! Cause today is your lucky day...

Hey! I am posting because we finally have some really good news! yesterday was an amazing day for me. it started out a little rocky, we didnt know how things were going to go, because things with our house were totally out of our control, we had to ask the builder for an extentsion on our contract, and from our experience with them, it seemed useless to ask. but God helped us, because he granted a week extentsion! and our lender, derrick, said he would have no problem closing our loan by next week! he said there are no Ifs about it, and thats always good to hear! Then another thing happened, we got some checks in the mail that we really needed. i cant believe it. i just cant believe how well things went yesterday, we am so blessed. i wouldnt even have ever imagined any of that would have happened. its so amazing how the Lord helps us out, in ways we couldnt even see coming. so we should be moving into our house next week, either wed or thur or friday. the house wont really be done until tuesday (thats another blessing, it means the builder would have had to extend the contract anyways) and i am very grateful. i have never been a success story of fasting and prayer so much, i've never had something really amazingly miraculous happen in my life like this, and i have my family also to thank for that. we really appreciate your support. i think its together with our faith that we pulled this one off. anyways, thats our good news. the house is looking great too, i think today we are going to go shopping for stuff for the house, probably not buy today because then we would just have to move it when we move in, unless we find some really good deals. anyways, thanks again family. i love you guys. anytime you want some help with anything, feel free to call, and i hope you all come down soon to visit!! i guess with mom and aud moving down, that will probably happen sooner than later eh!? Christmas in arizona this year!!! WAHOO! we can go to the beach on Christmas Break!! i cant wait! and i suppose a couple of people will come to my house to stay!!! :) Welcome !
