so today we closed on our house. i was kinda mad though because they got docs at the title company friday, but didnt find them until today, so we closed at 4 pm, which is kinda late, and because of that we were in traffic (we had to go all the way to north phoenix) both ways, AND they couldnt get the docs mailed tonight so they will go out tomarrow afternoon, and hopefully fund wednesday afternoon (which is when we get keys, if it would have gone out today it would have been tomarrow we get keys..whats one more day though huh?). so thats the update for the house! but i am glad we finally got it closed.

Well, sorry i didnt post for so long, but there is post on sundays! ;) anyways, this past week, started with monday. andrew (he still fits "little one" better than anything...) went to his first doctor visit, and weighed in at 8lb 7 oz, so his birth weight, then he had grown an inch, he was 21 1/2 inches! he was healthy and all. so then we were supposed to get his little heel pricked at the lab for his newborn check or something, but didnt have his shot records with us, so we were going back the next day, but then that day i also got sick, (it was also our 3rd anniversary) and so i was sick for about 2 or 3 days, with a good fever and that kinda thing that makes you feel like crap. so we forgot to go back in. then we have been busy with a lot of other things, so friday we went to take him in for it, and missed them by 15 minutes, they closed at 4, we got there at 4:15 (didnt know they closed at 4, assumed 5 or 6..). and so yesterday and today we have been at home, cleaning and doing our things.. but i posted some pictures. last sunday my mom flew out, she was here almost 2 weeks. she had missed her flight so we had lunch waiting for her next flight (she didnt get on til way late that night, poor mom). but i took a picture of them. she took some of me and dan but they didnt really turn out. so i have YET to get a family picture of us. andy has been a great little baby though, he sleeps usually 3 to 4 hours at night. unless he doesnt finish eating and then its like 2 hours or sometimes he tries to go to sleep but keeps waking up (i think because he doesnt realize hes just still hungry.). but its been pretty fun to have him around, dan really enjoys having a little baby here. as do i! so heres some pictures, i gave him his second bath in the tub today, and then got him dressed and dan combed his hair. so those are from today. OH and by the way, when we were driving around last week looking for somewhere to stop, we ended up driving RIGHT in the middle of an IRON man!! so i took a couple pictures. it took us FOREVER to get out of it, but it was kinda cool. i cant believe people can even physically DO an iron man!! okay, my camera is taking FOREVER to load, so im posting again later when they are loaded, so more pictures to come!!

One Week Old

Well little andy is one week old now. wow. its gone by really fast, but at the same time it seems like we've had him for a very long time. hes doing great, last night he got to bed around 12 or 1, somewhere like that, and then got up to eat at 3, i changed him, and put him back to bed, and then he ate again at 6, and then 9. so not bad, but now that my milk has been in, i had to pump at 6 anyways. but hes eating well, and sleeping a lot, and being a very good baby. he's very sweet in nature. here are a couple new pictures from the last couple of days. Also today, we had a very busy day. we went up to phoenix so i could finish up my real estate stuff, which is never going to be finished i have decided. we got to the real estate commissioners office, and i turned in my papers there, and then went to the national association of realtors, and that took a long time there, and then i was going to the supra office so i could get my key to get in houses, and that was going to take a couple more hours so i said forget it, i was hungry and tired and it was like 4 oclock by that time. and i found out within 60 days i have to take another 3 hour class...ugh. but now i have MLS access, and i am a realtor now. with a broker and everything.

Here are some pictures of Andrew, almost 4 days old today, at midnight! he's doing well, and smiling! im not sure how much he knows how to smile, but hes been doing it a lot, in his sleep, and awake.

Happy Easter Andy

Here are a couple more pictures of little andy. The ones in the swing were from today, he's definatly looking less swollen. notice in some right after he was born, how long his head was! it really was a conehead. but thats gone down as well. then theres one with our doctor, one of dan holding his hand, one of him meeting grandma, and a couple others i thought were cute. he's a very sweet baby, hardly cries at all, when he's hungary he just wimpers and roots his mouth around looking for food. he loves to be held, and just look at you, and take in the world around him. he's eating well today, and seems to be doing great. and by the way, the one where im crying, they are tears of joy, i had an epidural (best choice i ever made) and they let me hold andrew right after he was born, so it was our first meeting.
