yah right after this he head butts her and makes her cry, and then tries to push her off the couch.... hes getting so jealous. especially of daddy and abby, abby loves dan, she i really think has been trying to actually give him real kisses, she doesnt do that to me, but when shes near his face she tries to kiss him all the time. not me, so i think she actually knows what shes doing... and today when i was filming that little video i posted, andrew was gathering his balls and throwing them directly at her in a steady stream...

Our Weekend

after the book party the kids watched Bolt. it was cute. but andrew was such a stinker that day to everybody... as you can see here, he was tired.
me and carlie and our babies, abigail and hers is timothy. abby is 2 weeks older than timothy.
so this weekend has been an interesting one. we saw the Merinos from casa grande yesterday! they opened a pizza restaurant in midvale, like 7048 S State. its soooo good. if you live around here, go eat there! you get like a HUGE slice for $3.50 and its so good, it just falls apart as you eat it. andrew was even eating it, like stuffing it in his mouth as fast as he could. that was really fun to see somebody we have known for so long. we move so much i feel like seeing an old friend is soo refreshing. somebody who already knows who we are!! i guess you could say im sick of being the new kid. we are going to provo canyon somewhere next week to picnic with them. so that should be fun. today we went down to alpine and saw andrew and becky and their baby. the baby was sick so we just saw them, but it was also fun to see them!! we hadn't seen them for over a year, and the merinos for like 2 years. and i had a book party (which was really cool, be said if you missed it!), and saw Carlie from minot, and Crystal (jeremys wife) and both of them live in utah county so i dont see them much. saw carlie last year and crystal before they went to texas, probably 2 months ago. man talking to andrew and becky, who live in NY, makes me want to road trip sooo bad! and just get on the road or a plane, and just take a vacation. go on rides. buy ice cream from little stands along the freeway with such original flavors and sleep in a different place every night. and go see places we've never seen... anyways, so here are a couple pictures to keep you updated.

i put this fuzzy blanket under her for a little extra padding. i need to get a mattress quilted cover pad thing, andrews mattress has one, but i haven't gotten one for her. so i have 2 sheets on her mattress, but i think she appreciates a little something extra, don't you?

So its really late, and i have a book party to do in the morning, at 11, and a spinach artichoke dip to make for that tomorrow, and a house to clean, and i need sleep, but i have been working on this like all day, starting with getting all the supplies, borrowing jens sewing machine (THANK YOU JEN!) and getting the fabric, then getting it sewn together. i love it. i love the print. i have a nursing cover that matches it, and i plan to make a diaper stacker to match. and to get a pink dust ruffle. WHEW! so enjoy these pics! just wanted to post that I AM DONE! i think. i might do a seam in the middle of the long peices, but i dont know. we'll see. im going to finish cleaning up now and head to bed! i am definitely a person who once i start something can't stop until its done. so it feels good to be done with this! i was so excited to get this done, and now im so excited to have it done. oh by the way. they are 4 separate peices , one for each side of the crib. i was going to make it all one long piece like a regular bumper, but i used NuFoam, instead of batting, so i had to slip that in after i sewed the pieces, and if i sewed it all together i couldnt have put them foam in. and i put pink ties. i was going to add pink pipping, so that it had a pink pipping along the top of the bumper, i made the pipping, by covering rope with pink fabric, and then sewing it in, but when i sewed the bumper together i forgot to include it, and didnt have the energy to go back. but i think it turned out well anyways. i even basically made my own pattern. i was pretty proud of myself for having it work out...

At the Park today...long post ahead. mostly pictures though, so enjoy! oh one thing before i leave you, i am going to make abby a crib set using a really cute fabric, its Micheal Miller Carnival Bloom Brown. long name! and then like pink accents. you should google it. very cute. tell me what you think - should i do that print on both sides of the bumber, or one side that print and the other side pink, and if so, which side? inside or outside ? and i am going to put foam inside the bumper so it ALWAYS stands firm. i hate it when bumpers go limp. and the i wanted to make a diaper stacker to match..and then just get maybe a pink dust ruffle to match, and i already have a pink crib sheet and a pink crib sheet with dots that will both match.... so thats my exciting new project.








i love how babies lay with their feet up like that. could you imagine doing that all the time?

abigail and andrew were both really happy yesterday after their nap!
