Wow the night before last we had quite the storm!! it was pretty amazing, it snuck up on us! dan saw outside a lot of clouds and then i went outside to take some pictures and by the time i was a few houses down the street the wind picked up and was blowing sand and dirt in my face, with impressive force. it stung! so then i got home, and the little trees in on our street were swaying back and forth with the wind, and i went inside. then we saw our little tree had taken a fall and it couldnt get up! we tried , we built up the base with dirt, and tried to stick the wooden post it was fixed to deeper in the ground, but later we found out the post is what broke. anyways, so our tree was not the only one down. in chandler and gilbert where we work tons of trees were down! like trees 15 feet tall had falled. some say its the most powerful monsoon in 20 years. our backyard was like a pool, and we had some leakage in the house, from below. the thunder and lightening lasted for a couple hours nonstop, and some of the lightening was VERY close to our house. of course jinx was very scared, hiding in boxes, under blankets, and curled up in a ball when picked her up. our power was out for a couple hours as well, until like midnight. Anyways, thats sort of whats goin on in Casa Grande. since that storm , its been pretty clear outside. man it was nice to see clouds. I LOVE CLOUDS!!! I LOVE RAIN!!! it was so nice outside when it was raining, almost chilly!!! i will bet it was in the 70s. i forgot what weather like that felt like, cool air that smells like rain and a cool breeze, with big blue clouds overhead. its been hot stagnant air and a blow dryer. but you know, its not THAT bad. once winter comes i am gona be LOVIN it. and its hot nomatter where you live in the lower 48 mostly. at least its not humid here. they say in 7 weeks we'll be singing a much different tune. they say it will be much cooler by then. :) well, incase i dont see ya, good afternoon, good evening and good night.
