Santa Clause has come to Town!

Andrew met Santa Clause for the first time! he wasn't bothered or excited, just kinda sat there looking at this jolly man holding him. he loved the little stroller at RC Willey too! We got 2 free pictures from RC Willey, but i haven't scanned them in yet.

Andrews Haircut

So yesterday we cut andrews hair with the clippers. he was so good the whole time. i held his head in my hands to make sure he would hold still, and he did just that. just sat there still the whole time, thats so unusual! anyways, these arn't great pictures of his haircut but we'll get more later. he was tired. he also has another tooth coming in, i could feel the tip of it today. so that will make 6. i am guess by morning...

New Hair

5th tooth!~

Hey just wanted to tell you all that andrew got his 5th tooth yesterday , i think, either that or the day before. i think it was yesterday. its on the top, next to a front tooth. he also, when i put him sitting in his crib next to the edge, pulled himself up to standing !! yet he hasn't sat up from laying position yet. so hes getting stronger!

Jinx really likes the tree. she sits under it all the time...

so last night we got the decorations out of the boxes, and started getting them up. i got a TON of nutcrackers on the piano, and crystal (jeremys wife) fixed our tree! will post more later...

SILENT NIGHT!

FINALLY- andrew went to bed tonight, had a warm bottle (i'm trying to get him used to taking a bottle again) and when i layed him down , NOT A PEEP!! WAHOO! and today when i layed him down for his nap, and last night at bedtime, hardly any crying. im very excited. i think he's figuring it out. either that or i'm getting REALLY good at holding him off until he's DEFINITELY on his last leg. last toe for that matter. but i'm happy about that. another milestone, he officially plays peek-a-boo, with my hands. he covers his own face with my hands and then pulls them off. he's been doing this a couple weeks i think, but i wasn't sure if that counted. but i think it counts. AND, he is leaning forward at times to reach for toy and getting on one knee, BRIEFLY mind you- then he topples on his face. chest muscles must not be quite there. his arms are pretty strong, he pulls the chairs off the ground at church and trys to rock them.. and his legs are pretty strong from all that jumping. anyways, dan has a basketball game tonight, they won! Well, thats it for now!

Farton Creep

SO, the other day when we had our new dish installed, the installer couldn't find our house, and so he was like "let me just double check the address, you are at 3872 Farton Creep right?" so we corrected him. i thought it was a pretty funny mistake. i knew we would have a hard time communicating Barton Creek, but i didnt think of Farton Creep. so then we checked our address online for dish, and they actually have our address written as Farton Creep. so heres a laugh. i laughed.

a Festivus for the Rest of us!

Kortney got her feelings (and finger) hurt , she was playing with andrew and he grabbed her hand and bit her! haha. then she walked off pouting.. it was pretty funny.

this tree was done in memory of Jeremys (dans friend) brother, who died from cancer recently.

Here we are at the Festival of Trees, all proceeds donated to Primary Childrens Hospital.

Its beginning to look a little like Christmas...

So we got the tree up, no decorations yet on it. but thats a good start. we finally got all the lights working, and we got andrew a little santa hat. anybody know how long it usually takes babies to adjust to sleeping on their own? andrew still screams when i put him to bed. even if he has fallen asleep, he wakes up now when i put him down, he didnt use to do that. it seems like its getting worse, not better. so if anybody has anything they would like to add please share. i thought he would be used to it after a couple nights. but its not apearing that way. it just seems like andrew is losing his voice because he thinks he has been abandoned...
so we had dans birthday on saturday, and sams little girl kortney also had her birthday saturday , she turned 3. dan turned 27. i will post some pictures of Festival of Trees when i bring the cd of pictures inside, i think its in the car. we also got lots of snow on dans birthday! it snowed during the night and a lot of the morning, it was so beautiful to see all the trees covered in snow. a rare treat from nature.
