Sittin, Waitin, Wishin

Well. today was sort of a dull day. just sittin , waitin and wishin for some good news. we did hear from derick about our loan. the conventional loan cant close until next wednesday, which is 3 days , actually 4 days after our deadline, so thats out of the question, jeane would rather die than wait a few days when she could cancel us instead. so we are going for the hard money loan. if derick gets it all figured out by tomarrow we can close thursday. just saying "close thursday" is like surreal. it doesnt seem like its ever gona happen... anyways, if not , probably friday. because of verizon and stuff our credit is sort of an issue to get thru with hard money, and our payment would be about double for like up to 3-6 months until we could refinance, but it would still be woth getting the house, because we could always just sell it in like 2 or 3 months, and use the equity to get a different house, with the conventional loan. right now, well all day, i have been just sort of calm. i dont want to get my hopes up just to be crushed if we dont get the house. i dont want to shop for furniture, or decorations because i may have no place to put them for a while. im just going to take this day by day. if this doenst work out, its not because we are bad people, or dont have faith, or anything like that. it just wasnt supposed to happen for us, at least for this house. the answer isnt always yes, and i think im okay with that right now. if the answer isnt yes, i cant do anything about it right? so something will have to work out, one way or another. and when it does, it does. hopefully this will work out, and we can deal with the long term financing later. anyways , enough about that. we'll have a definate answer by friday on whats going on.
well thats my update for today . me and dan are going to try fliering at night to get more hours in, its just too hot in the day , and we're gona try it from like 8-12 or 8-1. we'll see how that goes. we'll stay by each other, like on the same street. anyways we're probably gona try that tonite.

What A Difference A Day Makes

I am very happy right now. on friday, audrey called and announced her arrival with her children on saturday evening, i was so excited. and i had no idea how nice it would be! lately i have just been getting stressed a lot, and it was so nice, this weekend was totally nice, relaxing, fun!! having some of my family down for the weekend was great. they went to church with us, and we went swimming and played in the pool, that was a lot of fun, and i just really enjoyed myself. i really had a good weekend. we are really praying everthing with our house works out, we havnt heard when they are going to be able to close our loan yet, it should be sometime soon, we are just not sure how soon. so we thought exercising our faith might help. i have started to really like the song by christina aguilara ( i know thats wierd, cause i usually dont like her) but on my ipod when i was doing dishes, kinda stressed about the house and loan and that, the song Fighter came on, and it clicked, im a figher, i decided i knwo that i am. i wont give up, if this doesnt work, or whatever comes my way, i will fight. i mean with the gospel. i will only get stronger from my trials. theres no way im letting them stop me in any way , or drag me down. its not happening. i know what im made of. hopefully we'll get in soon. we found some paint colors we REALLY liked, so thats cool! theres like 3 or so 4 colors that go really well together for earth tones, and i love it, they match so good and i've already seen them on the walls so i know it works. it was so funny, when we were looking at houses, one neighboring house was putting in a pool , and it was at the preconcrete stage, and emma saw the metal grid laid inthe hole, and thought it was a trap. hahah cute little emma. shes hilarious, so is dave. much smarter than you think. well, thats about it. just had a great weekend, and ready to have a great week. just thinking that this mess with the loan and house could be over, and hopefully that means we get moved in, is just like envigorating, its like i see the light at the end of the tunnel and i feel like i could sprint the whole way there full throttle!!!

Life is not tried it is merely survived if your standing outside the FIRE!

Well life in arizona is getting hotter. and there are forest fires near phoenix, they have burned up like over 20 homes by tonto national forest, or around there, sparked by lightning, and the really sad part about that is we didnt even get the rain!! they said its so hot down here that the rain evaporates before it hits the ground. i think two days ago it reached 114 degrees!! our lows have been 90, and today it is supposed to get up to 110. our house seems to be coming along, im not sure why, but they put oak cabinets in, we ordered maple, and they wont fix it they said. we can choose to cancel (their FAVORITE word), but with 50k equity, dream on!!! i wish i could tell the builders down here what i think of them. maybe i will after we close.
so anyways, we drove around outside of mesa last night, it was a pretty little drive, and mary theres a huge moutain that is like straight up, i bet you could rock climb it, its 5300 feet, i think its called the Globe Dome, or something, its like rock that goes straight up, huge!! prettier out there too, catcus and moutains around. very different still, but im getting used to it. alaska still tops them all, but you know, what can i do.
well that about all thats going on, just waiting to make sure our loan is secured, thats a little stressful. i need to move in somewhere , there actually. i cant wait, i think about it all the time!! hanging our pictures, getting back into painting, decorating, cooking in a full size kitchen, having a dishwasher! i havnt used one of those since like febuary, so that will be nice, and our own bed back! its such a comfortable one too. it will be fabulous! so all come visit when we get moved in!!

the heading below is in reference to the hot weather down here! its getting hotter! yesterday we were driving little red and no ac, and it was killin us!! and i think our apt is rigged, beacuse the ac wont go below like 75 or 80. all the more reason im excited to move in, move in date should be july 1 or 2. anyways, i better go.

Not Dead But Definatly Dying

okay, so its been a long time since i have posted anything, sorry about that. but with any luck, we could be running photos again in a couple weeks. so what have we been up to? those who check this probably know, but i'll say it again. we have been in a weekly motel, with no pets allowed hiding jinx, waiting for our house in casa grande to be finished. we are ward missionaries and im really liking that. our house should be done on june 30, and we are supposed to close on july 2nd. its too good to be true. its like it doesnt feel like it will actually happen withouth SOMEthing falling thru, a couple times. and i guess in a way, something already has. aaron the lender cannot get the laon closed in time, so we have to find someone else, we are going to use a hard money lender i think , that sort of stinks because it adds 5k to the loan, but thats fine with me, if i can just move it!! to my own place. a place i can decorate, a place i can unpack my things. i feel like a homeless wanderer, just goin from place to place, sort of finding work where i can ... right now we are still flyering. but after we close on our house we can get back to focusing on real estate. unpacking, finding things i had thoguht were long gone, putting pictures on the walls, maybe buying some furniture!!! boy that would just make my ... year? a couple years? i mean furniture shopping has always been a favorite pastime, but to buy it for my OWN house? wow. and to sleep in my own house? on our own bed again? not have to go to a parking lot to get somethign out of the car? have a garage? things i cant even imagine right now. it could all happen with a few (okay lots ) of papers just getting signatures. so everybody wish us luck.
phoenix is hot, but its alright. not over 100 very much, and so thats good. just like summer anywhere so far. except that heat blast of like 110 a while ago. well. thats prety much all goin on right now. as soon as i can i will post pictures.
