Welcome Mom!!

Grandma, Abby and Andy!

she is such a little cuddler.
i love the bows and headbands!!

So my mom got here yesterday. it has been so great to see her! here are some pictures from the last couple days, abby is still doing well and is still just so cute and small! when i saw andrew after holding her, i realized my little baby was definitely all little boy now, and not really any part baby... he just seems HUGE after holding her, especially changing his clothes and diapers really makes her seem tiny..anyways, life is good.

Day 3 of Life for Abigail Catherine!

his shirt...it was a hit, at least with everybody at the hospital who saw him...
such a tiny thing, in daddys arms.

Thats the name we chose by the way. Abigail Catherine (thats my middle name too). here are some pictures from yesterday and today, probably going to be another photo overload, because i think shes just the sweetest thing in the whole world. poor little lamb was spitting up last night, im worried shes also catching the "family cold". since dan, andy and i have all had a cold we haven't been able to get rid of... she was kind of snorting last night and it was pretty sad... she also went thru like 3 or 4 outfits over last night, shes been such a GREAT sleeper until i bring her home and then she has a long night... dan was very helpful though, he changed her in the middle of the night, which is sort of significant, because with andy he was always such a heavy sleeper (and still is a heavy sleeper) , that it was too hard to wake him up so i gave up. haha. anyways, enjoy some pictures! so far shes different from andy in that she sleeps almost ALL the time, and just eats inbetween, except last night and this morning, when shes been spitting up, i think her tummy has been having bubbles, or maybe since my milk is coming in shes just getting too much to eat.... ok on to the pictures now!

andy didnt know what to think, when we asked if he wanted to hold her or anything he would say "no"

proud daddy! he gave her the first bath, and the nurse said he did better than anybody shes seen in a long time! she really seemed to enjoy it too...

thats the dr that delivered her, dr. larsen (luckily my doctors office is just the floor right above so he was able to come check in often and be there to deliver!)
So we have a new addition to the family, she was born at 4:20 pm, and was 7 pounds, 14 oz. 20 inches long. shes quite chubby, yet petite compared to how andy was! the labor was great for those who want to know, i got here about 8, they broke my water at 8:30 and started pitocin at 9:45 or so, and gave me the epidural right after that. so i didnt even have to go thru any painful contractions!! it was awesome. i only had to push like 10 times, and it was not bad at all, they had me start pushing and then wait for the doctor and i pushed like 2 or 3 times when he got there and she was born (total push time was 15 minutes). it was soooo much nicer and easier than andrew, just complete black and white, so much better this time!!! shes already eaten a few times, and seems to be a great eater!! healthy and happy, and thats what we wanted! couldnt ask for more than that! here are a few pictures (we brought our laptop and the hospital has wireless so i decided to post a few pics for you all!). i know this is a lot of pictures! but hey i think shes pretty cute, and since i've got some time, shes just sleeping and everybody went home, so i thought why not:)
