Well. Yesterday we traded in our maxima (the 2000, not the new one), and the TL, for a brand new Honda Rigdeline!! Dan's really been wanting a truck for his yard and it will be nice to have. especially for our move. it took like all day yesterday, we were at the dealers from like 2 to 7:30, crazy.... i never thought it took that long, but it kept being this, and then checking on that, and just waiting for this... but the people were at leaast pretty nice to work with. WAY different from the people we bought our TL from, they were the biggest jerks, we should have walked out on them. but anyways, thats old news. so now we have a truck! its dark outside, and i am going to go to my sisters to help her pack since she's moving, so i will see if i can find a picture to post. its silver, with gray interior. anyways, well i keep waking up and not being able to go back to sleep . happened again this morning, dan got up for basketball, at 5, and i couldnt go back to sleep. i hate that. now its 7, and its time to get up, but im ready to go back to bed. i am probably going by the house today also, the new one, to see if anything else has changed, they said dry wall would be the next big thing to go in, and after thats done, they said it would be 30 days until it was done. ALSO i should mention i am 32 weeks pregnant! out of 40! im almost done! and i am hoping for only 38 or 39 weeks of pregnancy, so maybe i will be done sooner and we can see that baby! speaking of baby, has anybody heard any updates on that consumer report about the carseats not functioning? i am not sure what to do about that. we need to get a car seat before long so we have it before the babys born, but the Baby Trend FLex Lock car seat is sold out, in the cute model. they do have one other print of it, that isn't out of stock,and i can see why, its ugly. its gray with gray and cream plaid. not my favorite.. not even a runner up. but consumer reports retracted their thing about the car seats being unsafe, and i havnt heard any update on their new testing, whenever that will be conducted...so do i get the ugly one or just get another one and hope its safe? what would you do? what are you pregnant ones and ones withe babies doing?

First off, congrats on the truck. We can't wait to see pics. Tom will be so jealous. He's wanted a new truck forever. About the carseats...I will email the article from consumer reports to you. I saved it. We bought the Graco snugride. It tested good. The Graco saferide was the bad one along with a bunch of others. I can relate with the no sleep thing. Tom wakes up around 5 and I just can't seem to fall back asleep either. Luckily, Brooklyn sleeps until 8:30 so I can go back to sleep at 7 and still get a nap in.

Love the new truck, is it a crew cab like the one in the ad picture?
Hint...Use a little benadryl for nighttime, it is safe, and will help you be drowsy enough to stay asleep.
Why not go on the internet for the exact car seat and color you need? Probably cheeper as well, and you have 7-8 weeks to get it here,
Hope you have fun with your new house full of furniture, I feel better knowing at least someone I love has our stuff and will really appreicate it.

i have a few more months to work on the car seat thing... I would really like to see them do additional testing. Anyhoo.... congrats on the new truck, Jerry is pretty jealous. looks really nice. Have a good day.

Cassie you're getting so big!! I'm so excited for you. Have you decided what you're doing during labor? I'm not sure how much it costs to have a baby we got most of our clothes from jeremy's grandmother and we've been making do with very little (we still don't have a crib as you already know) the wipes and diapers add up pretty fast though. As for the truck congrats, Jeremy wants to trade in the Pathfinder and get something truck like but they're ugly and i don't go for it.
