toilet training in less than a day?

So i've checked out a book from the library. its called "toilet training in less than a day". i've been reading it. whew. i got it this afternoon and planned on doing it tomorrow. i had no idea how complex this is. it was designed by psychologists, and if done right, has been proven to actually toilet train in about 2.5 hrs for childer over 26 mo, and about 5 hours for children around 20 months. its actually quite amazing. and im getting that pit in your stomach you get when you are about to attempt something you wonder if its possible for you do achieve. i haven't had anything to give me confidence yet, and so far i feel like the faith precedes the miracle. right now i very much feel like i am in the faith section. i am so nervous. so many factors to remember, i started making notes, but because i feel kind of frazzled they refelt that and might be hard to read/understand. so many thoughts going thru my head about what to do and what not to do, its such a huge attempt, and if its not done right it (or as in other kids cases if the parent had tried other techniques that were negative the child may easily take many days instead of one). whew. not to put any pressure. and i'm supposed to have a doll that pees, but i didnt read that while at the store, so im going to have to pretend our doll pees or pour water down its back to make it appear so. so wish me luck. i just feel like i need to decompress a little. i have this knot in my stomach because so much of what i have been reading has been sounding really important and new. and im anxiously awaiting andrews responses. will he go along with it or will he try to fight it? how long will he take? what kind of response will he have to the treats i got him? how will naps/nights go? how will i check him every 3 to 5 minutes at first while having abby around? how will i take the time to feed her and take care of her? the book says not to have ANY distractions, but it didnt say what to do if you have a new baby and cannot put her off for half the day.... so anyways. i will return and report probably tomorrow night. big day ahead. i can see myself having trouble sleeping well or waking up at like 5 without being able to go back to sleep. kind of like Christmas morning, only more like the night before a huge final. well, i better get going. get back to reading that book. who knew it was so long?!
