It's A Wonderful Life

here is a painting i started last night and finished this morning. i dont know if i like it or not, i cant tell if i just dont really like the painting or if it was the picture that i took this from that i dont like. the colors were all shades of purples and pinks, and so painting was a little diffucult because the differences in colors were so suble some places. and since my knowledge about color is very very very basic, i felt like i was almost guessing at the colors, and doing that the odds are overwehlmingly against me happening to get the right ones. but i tried. i think next time im going to stick to greater contrast, like the sunset. maybe not that extreme, but i did really like the look of that one. Well, im off !
