So here are some pics from my moms place in alaska. we've been having a great time, jenny & garry and their 3 kids (parker 5, olivia 3, sophia 17 months), and tom and michelle with their 2 kids (brooklyn who will be 2 next month, and kenzie who is 15 months, andys age), and my mom and dad, and james andersons father (from omaha clinic, he was a PT and a great one!~ we really liked james, hes a great guy), so his father and his fathers friend are up visiting, it had been a lifelong dream of both of them to visit alaska, and so far i think they are having a wonderful time, they've gone halibut fishing and salmon (king) fishing. thats pretty much all they have done for a couple days, all day long just fish! and they love the scenery, (who wouldnt though!). so we have a VERY full house. we also have david and emma, audrey is away at school, but next week is her last week! yay! so but jen and gar leave monday, and the old men leave tues (they really are both so nice. they have been very pleasant to have around). and then tom and mich are here til the 28 i believe. and we are here indefinitely right now. dan is still job searching diligantly, but its proving to be quite a quest! its very much about who you know, they don't really advertise much for jobs on the north slope, and you would THINK there is some place that you can find them online or something, but its eluding us if such a place exits. so right now we are exhausting our resources (people we know who work up there) trying to get some names and numbers of poeple who are in charge of hiring and such. jenae saltys dad and brothers work there, and we are trying to get ahold of them, but right now her brother just got married yesterday and tomorrow they are blessing jenaes new baby girl, so its a very busy weekend for them... so i feel like we're bugging them if we call, so i'll wait til maybe i see them sunday to see if we can see them this week before they go back up to work.. anyways, andy is loving the slide up here, and outside, and hes been somewhat jealous i think of his cousins..he has been biting (and leaving marks ALL the way around, from top and bottom teethe), banging his head on the wall or throwing himself backward on the tile, hitting, stealing toys, pushing kids over, and all around breaking down when he gets into a fight (mostly with sophie) because he doesnt know what to do if she has a toy he wants, or if she steals one of his toys. they try to fight their way to the toy of choice, but both end up frustrated and crying. its actually hilarious to me, but sad too because they really don't know what else to do. thats i guess what makes me laugh so much. but this is longer than i intended, i just wanted to drop a quick update. the weather by the way has been a little cool for my taste, like 50s probably. i prefer like 70s. it may have been like 60s maybe, but its just chilly enough i dont want to be out in it. anyways, on to the pictures~
