Abbys 2 Month Checkup

Abby at 1 week
Abby at 1 month (maybe 1 month and 1 week)
Abby at 2 months
So this morning abby had her 2 month dr appt. andrew seemed to do MUCH better with shots than she does... she did good for the checkup, i think she even smiled at the dr. he commented that she is gaining weight VERY well! which she is... both my babies so far have done soo well nursing luckily. i just love chubby babies. but yah when they gave her the rotovirus drops (which andrew didnt seem to care about AT ALL, they are just drops in their mouth), she screamed. i think she was very put out that they were dropping some sort of non milk liquid in her mouth. and then when the shots came, she really lost it. she was screaming and totally red in the face. when i picked her up,she didnt stop either! she was so mad. so finally i decided she wasn't going to stop soon, so we made her next appt and left, and finally when we were driving away she settled down and fell asleep. poor little lamb. didnt even see it comin! anyways, but heres her little stats .
she weighed 11.66 pounds. she was in the 70%tile there. at 2 weeks she was in the 56%tile at 8.5 pounds. and her height was 22.75 in, which is about 50%tile i think. it used to be 21 in and 76%tile at 2 weeks. her head also grew, from the 10%tile to the 30th.
I dont know if i posted andrews 2 yr results but here they are : for height he was 34.75 which was the 70%tile. weight he was 25.75 pounds which was 20%tile.
And there it is... i think today i'm going to take andrew to the tot park, and run some errands... so talk to ya later!

Did you try nursing her while they were giving her the shots? I've heard that works sometimes keeps them distracted and comforted. I'm glad to have my camera working as well. As far as the sleeping, I've been moving to the couch at like 1am and trying to sleep out there so I don't disturb Jeremy. So I'm getting some sleep but night time and early morning are definitely the worst for me (it's making me incredibly grouchy, my poor children)
