this picture is for daddy! (haha they have one of these in the omaha zoo, and i have a picture of dan with one of these before we started dating)

i weighed abby the other day, probably about a week ago, and she was 12.6 pounds! she is about 2 and half months right now.

she wasn't too happy a couple times, she screamed 2 different times for quite a while, almost inconsolable, because she was tired and the zoo is so loud, she is a lot like her mama that way, can't sleep very well if its not quiet. but i have to say i think shes one cute little babe!

i like my stroller, and got lots of compliments on it, thanks maar!

Riding the train at the Hogle Zoo

SO big! i love this, i remember i picture of my sister mary when she was little with this same thing. and the lion drinking fountain

andy loved the carousel, i accidentally picked one though that didnt go up and down, but maybe thats why he liked it....

"lion" around....that was the closest to a REAL lion they had at the zoo. but still had a great time!

sam and heidi brought their wagon, and he liked taking a turn riding and pulling it.

looking at the zebras

he didn't like sitting on this rhino, but i thought it was kinda cool. and there was a real rhino behind. they also had elephants, one was pregnant, and they havn't had an elephant birth at this zoo since like 1930, and the baby is due in august, kinda cool. the baby will be about 250-300 pounds, and 3 feet tall!!! pregnancy is about 21 months. WOA!

yay, what a great sight this was, finally asleep!!!

so yesterday we went to the Hogle Zoo. it was pretty busy but it was still lots of fun. Andrews favorite things were the Train ride, the elephants, pushing and pulling the wagon, and abby was very glad to finally get some sleep. This week Dan passed his class he was taking, so we are very proud of him. Also, andrew got ahold of my camera, i had been talking to dan, and andrew was being very very very quiet, so i started looking for him, and saw him fiddling with something on the couch, which he quickly shoved under the pillow, and i found my camera, with a few pictures of his leg and the couch cushen, and now it seems to be taking really light pictures, some of them almost looked bleached out, as if the sun was in them or something, but i think my camera is just kind of on its last leg. Well, today has been nice, got a sunday nap. but it didnt seem long enough! anyways , hope you enjoyed the pictures, and i'll talk to you later!

I remember going to the Hobo Zoo as a young child, some fond memories, wish we could have been there with Andrew, Abby and the rest. looks like you had a really fun time. Hope Auntie Jen is loving the babies appropriately, some time we will spell her off, haha.
love dad--RWH
Thanks for sharing the cute pictures of the kids. It has only been a few days since I last saw them and they seem like they have already changed so much!
Thanks for blessing us with such sweet grandchildren!
