Firetruck Bed! and DADDYS HOME!

andys new bed! i think i need to get some cute little red sheets now, little animals just don't match! and i think my other sheet, which is green, would look funny too...

So. Abby is 3 months tomorrow (i am sure i will post again for that), and i was thinking, it was time to either get another crib for abby or a toddler bed for andrew. Toddler beds are much cheaper though, so i went that route! i found this Firetruck bed for $40 on KSL, and for those of you who know andrew, know he LOVES firetrucks and "sisa" or sirens. he was very excited he got a firetruck bed! now i just need to get a crib mattress for the crib, and i LOVE this brown and pink bedding at walmart of all places, so those are my next two goals! i set the crib up in my room, abbys still far from sleeping thru the night, but i think she would appreciate a real bed, and it will be safer being that if she rolled over in her stroller, i think she could suffocate. and shes not rolling yet, but you never know...also , we went to Draper park, and i remembered my camera so i took a couple pics of him there, its a great park, it just sort of is one of those parks that makes me VERY nervous, because its sooo open on all sides, i always fear if i am not watching andrew like a hawk someone could SO easily swoop in and take my little guy so easily. so i just try to keep a good eye on him , but its really hard because there is a hill between the two playgrounds he loves, and its just big enough to block your view a little, so i try to go there when its not crowded (like the other day in the rain! it was great! we were almost the only ones there! his friend Isaac was there, which madeit kind of funny when i would call them, Andrew, Isaac! (because andrews full name is Andrew Isaac).
Also, Dan got back last night around 4:30 , which was SO exciting for us! we have missed him over the past couple weeks! hes been in alaska doing some schooling for a new job. andrew was SOOO excited to see daddy, and just as excited when he woke up and came into our room and realized daddy was still there! then today whenever dan would leave andrews sight, his eyes would well up with huge tears and his face would start turning red, and he would choke out "a dada , get dada" . he was soo concerned he was losing his daddy for another couple weeks. then tonight i put him to bed in his new firetruck bed, and he was excited. but he still wanted me to hold him. and i just cant resisit when hes being so sweet, i layed him down, and he just looked up at me with those big beautiful brown eyes and said "a hold?" like, "will you hold me?" and it just sounded so innocent. so of course i held him for a while, and then i layed him down , and he cried, but i told him daddy would tuck him in, and when dan did that he was just fine, and i assume he is alseep now in his new bed. okay, well its getting late!
