Andrews Lucky Day

Super Baby!!
Well today Andrew rolled over! mostly... he had his fist in his mouth so he couldnt get his shoulder completly over, but his hips and legs were rolled over. so yay for him! but now i think he isnt supposed to really be in hiis bassinet so we will be crib shopping before too long. and then we went swimming and he wore himself out in the pool, he was kicking and splashing the whole time! i weighed him this evening and he was 14 lbs exactly! he was in his pjs and he had eaten, so i will weigh him in the morning. he is so cute though! i love his little chubby thighs, i think those are one of my favorites! I didn t actually get a picture of him rolling over, we were at the cholla house cleaning it out and so when i got home i put him on his belly because he wasnt rolling over again. but you can imagine...

Happy Birthday America

Well for our fourth of july we had a church bbq and then watched fireworks which were pretty good for casa grande, we were far off so andy wasnt scared, he liked laying on his blanket. today we gave him a haircute and there are just a couple random pictures. i was at the dentist today getting fitted for a crown and dan put up andrews mobile so he could be entertained, he loves the mobile but it doesnt fit on his bassinet and we havnt gotten him a crib yet. so dan found another way to hang it..we also gave him haircut number 3, dan cut lots off, he put ICE gel in his hair and then cut it, and the pic of his bare little back shows his new cut.

Clean Laundry!

heres littl andrew getting packed up with all the laundry. what a cutie! i love how calm (haha i wrote clam and almost didnt catch it) anyways, he is such a calm little guy, and hes so comfortable around us, and i mean we ARE his mom and dad, so he should be, its just i've never had such a calm baby. hes MY baby! and he loves us too! haha it was funny he was smiling at us this morning , and his little eyes just light up, and dan was like "you know he REALLy loves us, look at those little eyes, he guenuinely loves to be around us.". we cant get enough of the little sweet baby. and i love when he tries to talk to us, its so cute. he REALY does try. today we went to the pool again, and he just loves the water , and there was this other baby there that was 8 mo old and he was fussing and didnt like the water (its cold at first but you get used to it REAL soon since its over 110 down here), but andy doesnt even fuss once when we put him is the water, he just hangs out and kicks, and smiles at us. what lucky people we are to have our little andrew. i cant imagine not having him around. so here are some pictures, he LOVEs his fists. i think he is trying to wean out the binkis...

The oTher Hand~

Well, yesterday when i was baking the Amish Friendship Bread (very good!) i put little andrew in his swing and he discovered the other hand! the left hand, he has never looked at the left hand until yesterday ! so congratulations to him for his big discovery.

Another Hot One!

well, its still very very hot down here. so we went to the pool again today, and andrew just LOVES the water. he was realy tired when we were in there and he was just so content, hes so much fun! and his little swimming stuff , his hat and little towel robe is just so cute. so another good day! today was a little more crowded than last time, last time it was just perfect, hardly anybody around. and its funny, when i come his hair up, it curls like a wave, so i took a picture of that.

Andrews First Day at the Pool

Here is andrews first outing to the pool! He LOVED the water and cried very much when we got out! so we put him back in and he loved it, he was so calm and content. "feels like home" is what i got out of him. so here are some pictures.

New HAIr day~

welp, i dyed my hair. actually my friend Emily did it. it has some red in it, its VERY different looking. dan doesnt like it. but maybe it will grow on us. its just so different. i think i will like it. although i loved the highlights. but with andy i just cant leave him that long, highlights take SO long and i dont know of anywhere in casa grande, so i would have to drive 45 minutes just to get up there...any so i am trying dark hair for a while til i can leave him or til i find somewhere closer to home! what do you think?

What a good daddy!
So this morning dan read andy his first book. it was Restored Nauvoo. he altered the text of course, because he thought that sort of book would go over his head. so he said things like "this is a house where the prophet lived" and simple phrases that andy would understand better;) it was cute , because andy was very interested or at least acted like he was since it was fathers day. andy got up with me this morning to make breakfast for daddy and he was very excited to wear his Daddys Team shirt. it said that across the back. its a 3 mo outfit and was almost too small! it fits JUST right but thats not gona last long..;(. anyways, he also discovered his RIGHT fist, it was MY left fist so he hasnt discovered he has a left fist. just a right one, and he holds it up to admire it all the time. that and his little ducks that go around his swing mobile. he loves his ducks! and he loves to talk to you. anyways on with the pictures! oh by the way we have house # 2 under contract! its a nice huse that backs up to a mountain and has hardwood floors, in queen creek. that will be a rental as well. there is a pic with me and him where last night he was So tired and just relaxing with me on the recliner until he fell asleep. what a sweetie.

Musical Dog

SO yesterday i told dave and emma a joke that was on my popsicle stick. it said "what bone is the most musical bone?" answer- "a trombone". so i asked emma "do you know what a trombone is?" and she said "I got a joke for you- what do you call a dog chewing on a bone?" answer "A MUSICAL DOG!" hahaha. emma is so funny!!!

hes 9 weeks!

here are a couple snaps from this week, he is just so cute!! jenny gave me a baby sling, WHICH HE LOVES! (and audrey gave me a bigger one, so when hes old he can have one!and dan can wear this one, the one jenny sent i think would be too small for dan. its funny, i got 2 baby slings in one day. and look how comfy he is in that picture- not a good pic of me, we were in a hurry) i cant get over how cute he is in it. he reminds me of when he was in the womb, all smashed and suggled and happy. he just goes to sleep or just sits in there, he just LOVES it. its SO cute. he slept in there the whole time i was in the movie today (oceans 13- Good!). and his little hands are ALWAYS up to his mouth, he has been spitting out his binky so he can try to snag a finger, usually the pointer but its still curled so it is probably scratching the inside of his cheek. hes so funny. he was really smiling today when we were playing with his stuffed animals and bring them up to his face, he liked that. and we turned on his mobile that doesnt fit on his bassinet (just for cribs...he doesnt have one yet), but he liked the music and watching the animals , we were just holding it over him. anyways, thanks jen for the sling! he thinks that is the tops! oh a couple of the new house! (moms house). he really likes watching himself in the mirror on hid swing...

2 months old!

yesterday he went in for his 2 week checkup, he was 11 pounds 10 oz, and 24 inches long. for weight he was 50th percentile, and 95th percentile for height. you know should "weight" and "height' rhyme? last night was the first time he has been like sick, i felt so bad for him he was just screaming...he had to get 4 shots. so we gave him some tylenol. i dont thikn hes feeling quite up to par this morning, so i gave him some more. well hes crying, so i gotta go!

a baby blessing

Here is him on the way to his blessing, he was very happy today! he woke up smiling and was pretty happy all day, cooing a lot and trying to talk to us.











Thats the house we made an offer on, and the bank accepted! our first bank owned property, this one is in good shape from what we've seen. we tried to go in yesterday but my key didnt work because they had a lock box, so we looked in the windows, it didnt look trashed though, it looked good. so we will see, the bank wants to close the 28th of this month....
