So here are some pictures from andys 2nd time at the park, the first time i forgot my camera. Its about a 10 to 15 minute walk from our place, good exercise. and he loves it there, he loves exploring and climbing and playing with the mulch wood chips, and watching the other kids. We met my friend Heather and her little boy Noah there. He's cute, and about 5 months older than andy. they play together pretty well, sometimes though they fight over toys because neither is used to having to share, or having someone else around to take their toys. when noah was at our house, andy was being really possessive of his block box, laying his arms across the top so noah could neither get blocks or play with the beads on the side...
Also on the docket today, i was going to make andy "cry it out" and see if i can do that again. but i chickened out. he falls asleep usually really quickly if i hold him, do you think its worth doing the cry it out method or should i just continue to hold him until he falls asleep (he falls asleep really pretty quickly, like 10 minutes i bet). last night though he woke up when dan got home and was REALLy excited to play with his daddy (i can't blame him, he hardly sees the guy anymore). so he was so wound up he wouldn't go back to sleep until like 12:30. but then he "slept thru the night" until 7. to me, thats hardly sleeping thru the night because the night is half over! it was fun though to see him and dan play, they are so cute together. andrew was learning to run, he got so excited he was running around, he's still kinda funny looking because hes never ran before, but it was funny. so enjoy the pics.

Wow! It's amazing to see pictures of him walking and climbing, since he was just starting to do that before you left. And now running?! He's growing up fast. It looks like he loves the park. Give him kisses for me. Love, Jenny

After having now my fourth I say hold him and rock him to sleep. They don't stay little forever. Before you know it he will be 8 like Karlee and they are way to big to hold and rock. They think at times that they don't need you. So I say spoil him because he is just little once! Love tons and we will see you soon! Love the Pics. Andy is getting so big.
Love Heidi J.
Kids sleep much better if you wear them out before you put them to sleep. Try wearing him out, give him a few minutes to calm down and then put him down. He will fall asleep quickly, minimal crying, and sleep much better through the rest of the night.
Love,
Grandpa Jake
