Well andrew is walking! i think i can finally say that. today he started out on his own and walked around the couch into his room!!! he was so excited he fell over when i followed him, and laughed hysterically. it was so funny. so all afternoon thats what he has been doing, walking a step or two, looking over his shoulder to see if im watching, and when he sees me he laughs so hard as he walks with too much enthusiasum and falls over. but he is doing REALLY good with walking. he officially prefers it to crawling. So tomarrow i am getting to go to the Cherry Blossoms. 2000 japanese cherry trees are in bloom for only 2 weeks each year, and they are by the Jefferson Memorial. some other things he has been doing is going into a room and shutting the door behind him. at first i would rush over especially in the bathrooms because they are dark) but he laughs when i open the door and so then i left him for a minute to see what he would do, and he didnt really mind it. i could hear him in there just hitting the doorstop. haha. Its been really warm out here , like 70 degrees, and its more humid than utah by a lot, so it feels a lot warmer. i have been a little bored here, but its not too bad. we have gone on a walk everyday this week. i started working on our taxes... just stuff like that. i was going to take andrew in for his 1 yr old checkup, but i called 2 clinics and they were both $400 and didnt offer any discount to cash pay. WOA! in utah his apts were like $100. so i think im just going to take him to the health clinic for his shots and call it good. hes a pretty healthy kid , so im sure he'll be fine. Well, i will be getting a memory card soon!!! so keep checking for pictures!! i am going to see if the girl going to the cherry blossoms with me will bring her camera so i can maybe download them and post. well i better get going.
