Fun With Aunt Jen

they are so alike...
notice the shirt- "big truck, little guy". thats PERFECT for andrew. hahah
he still LOVES to point out hair, eyes, and anything else you ask.
if he ever has to wear glasses this kids gona be ok! he looks soo cute in them i think.

So yesterday Dan and I had the priveledge of volunteering for the Draper Temple open house, which runs until march 14. i was on a tour bus that picked people up from a church meetinghouse, and drove them up to the Temple. I had a script and microphone and everything! i remember some cool things i learned from reading that script to everybody on the ride (which i was to announce would last about 6 minutes). - the stone on the outside of the temple was imported from China. The stone inside the temple was from France. The dark wook inside the temple was African Cherry, imported from the west coast i believe of Africa. (i haven't been on the tour myself yet, thats on the 6th of feb, and since i was on the bus i haven't seen any of the inside yet). but it is the 12th temple in utah. it took 2 yrs 5 month to build. the grounds including a stakecenter and parking lot are 11.6 acres. It features a 13 ft 8 in Angel Moroni make of fiberglass covered with gold leafing... anyways, so just a few fun facts. how lucky we are to have a temple just up the road from us now!! anyways, jen was kind enough to come down and watch andrew from 10-2 while we volunteered. Then she took us to the Belgian Waffle House, which i had never been to, so of course i had to order a Belgian Waffle! mmm, it was excellent too. and then we went around the Draper outlet mall, and i found a GREAT place to get andys clothes in the future, the osh kosh outlet! things start out at 40% off , and go up to 70% off. i got a couple little things for the baby girl, and jen got andy some new overalls (SOOO cute, i LOVE those overalls) and a little girl dress overall with a pink flower on the front, which is also SOOO adorable. i cannot wait to put them on with like white shirts under and get pictures taken, kind of like jennys family pics (my sister in AK), she got some in denim and white and they were sooo cute. anyways, then she hung out with us that night and andrew was soo upset when i tried to put him to bed (even though he was too excited to see her so he wouldnt take a nap) and he ended up being awake til almost 11, because since we only see her 1 or 2 times a week, and he LOVEs to play with her so much, i decided to let him stay up and enjoy his aunt jen. and he very much did!! shes so good about getting on the floor and playing with him, which is something i dont really do anymore because my belly's just too big... anyways, enjoy the pics!! hope you all had a great sunday.

Cassie, thanks so much for the sweet compliments. You guys are a joy to be with. I love Andrew's fun little personality and how he makes me laugh with all the funny things that he does. By the way, it looks like the picture of Andrew eating marshmallows with Dan is gone. Could that be Dan's doing?
