our house on a friday night....

his new lightning...it has a spring underneath that makes it flip to do a trick. and the best part- NO BATTERIES REQUIRED!:) i like that.
she likes this toy because it makes lots of noise...thats the sort of thing she looks for in a toy.

michelle made that bow she's wearing, but til now i didn't have a headband that fit it well. it looks so cute , thanks michelle!!!
andrew showing abby the joy of cars...shes also starting to roll over for the FIRST time from tummy to back here, i almost got most of it on the video. WAHHOOoO for abba girl. (thats what andrew calls her, and its kinda catchy)

So i guess this is what's going on at our place on a friday night. just heard the door open, andrew is up again... so i'll have to go put him back to bed, hopefully he'll stop coming out. went to the park and did sort of picnic tonight with jen, katie, kortney and grandma margo. does pizza count as a picnic?:) andrew had a blast with the girls at the park... it was actually chilly. upper 60s and it starting to sprinkly and thunder was coming and it was quite windy, good thing i had taken abbys blanket. then we stopped at kohls to look around. then got a little ice cream and headed home, where andrew tried out his lightning mcqueen. and we worked on abbys little tummy time. i didnt get all her exercises done, its actually kind of hard to fit them all in, today i felt like i was hardly home at all. but she's already doing somewhat better on her tummy. or maybe i'm just thinking that since i'm getting used to her fussing... andrews doing pretty well with potty training. no problems with peeing... its the other part he's having a rough time with. hes just so shy, he won't even let me in the bathroom when i DO get him on the potty in time... "NO MA! OTHER ROOM!" haha.. its something thats been an obstacle. so any suggestions? i know he knows. because yesterday he heard abby go in her diaper, and said "NO NO NO ABBA, NOT IN YOUR PANTS!" haha it was pretty funny. kind of hard to explain to a 2 yr old that its okay for babies but not for him. but i tried...anyways, well im going to relax. it sounds like andrew and abby are asleep...after all, isn't that what a friday night is all about? goodnight!
