and this outfit is just a classic, so i had to post a pic of her in it. david wore it as a baby, and it has always been a favorite. by the way, we took abby in a week ago, when she was 2 weeks old exactly to the dr for her checkup, she was 8 pounds 7 oz, and 21 in long. she was 12 percentil for her head , 56 for her weight and 70something for her height. i can't remember but i didnt think i posted that info yet, so if you've been curious here ya go!
i took this picture today, andy wanted to hold abby. i the pic above he is tickling her toes. he likes to try that. when he was done holding her, he just pushed her off, luckily i was close enough to catch her before she rolled off the couch....
someone is in andys space! he definitely has an issue with people inside his personal space... and people touching his car...

i made this cake, sort of last minute... its a chocolate sour cream cake with a race track and some cars, and it says "Happy Birthday Andrew" (surprise surprise). i am not a cake fan, but i think it turned out alright. it was kind of fun to try decorating a cake. jen got me some cake decorating stuff, i love decorating sugar cookies and stuff with the cool tips...:)
andy was very excited for his cake. when he woke up, he was sort of grumpy , so i told him i made him a race car cake, and he was SOO anxious to see it, and then to eat it. he did not eat dinner because he wanted to eat his cake. it was cute to see him get so excited over it...
YUMM. he liked it.
watching the tail end of conference....SO today andrew turns 2!!! we celebrated last week with my mom and brother tom at his house in conjuction with andys cousin mackenzie and my mom because it was also their birthdays around this time. yesterday we had the jacobsons over to celebrate andys birthday with them. here are some pics from yesterday and today. its supposed to be nice like 60 outside today, so i think i will take andy and abby for a walk this afternoon, if anybody wants to join us:)

Cute Cake! McQuade got that Car last year for his birthday from uncle Mike and he LOVES it! we go get the mail with it! the best thing we ever got him was the radio flyer 4-wheel trike! he hauls on it and rides it a lot! this year i want to get him a pedal bike, but the only small one is thomas the train, which i'm not a fan of. Good Luck potty training!
