i thought this was cute of them. it was the ONLY one of both of them that turned out, because andrew was super hyper and wouldn't sit still...

anyways, our weekend has been good. we went to sam and heidis on saturday , heidi was out of town so jen was over there helping out with the kids, and we went over to see them. we made cookies, had a bbq, and watched a slideshow from dans family growing up. lots of fun. andrew went to bed tonight at 8 oclock, which is nice, and abby seems to be on a schedule now. she seems to go to bed around 11 and wakes up usually around 3 or 4 (last night she ate at 10:30, went to bed at 11, and didnt wake up til after 4!) and wakes up again around 6 or 7 to eat, and then around 7:30 to 8 and wants to be up for half hour to an hour, and then goes back to sleep for a couple hours. she still sleeps most of the time, and likes her swing and bouncer seat. she also loves to be held. but if shes asleep hates it when you move. she wakes up at the drop of a pin. she is definitely a princess and the pea sort of girl. she is sleeping in the bertini stroller, which she seems to be very comfortable in. i love the sleepsak maaret sent down that matches it, it gives a little extra padding and it has a certain coziness factor she appreciates. she still has YET to sleep in her little bassinet. good thing andrew did as a baby, or i would have wasted a lot of money! i am considering just selling it since she seems to want NOTHING to do with it... but its so cute. its one of those round ones, its white with light green (i think it was called sage, its like a pastel green) bedding and canopy. so if you want it, make me an offer... anyways, here are the pictures. i soo look forward to the day i have my own professional camera! and set up... how fun would that be?! andrew has been really pretty good with abby. the other day he did something cute, he saw her fussing because her binky fell out, and i was i think in the kitchen doing dishes or something probably equally as fun, and i heard him say "here ya go , babaaaay" it was SO cute. he kept putting the binky back for her, and saying that each time, over and over. he also loves to give her kisses, and tonight we asked him if he wanted to say the prayer (he loves to do that), and he said "a abby say". haha... and i think it was friday, i was saying the prayer over lunch, and after i was done, he said "help andrew' and folded his arms, he wanted to help. hes really catching on to saying prayers, its soo cute to hear him repeat what you say, or at least the last word or two . well, i am going to go watch the amazing race with dan. today has been a good day. ya know, i have a good life. i may not have everything, but i have what i would really want in the end anyways, the gospel and a family. a wonderful husband and a pretty cute one i think, and two beautiful babies, and i live in the best country in the world (even with all its problems, its still the best one out there.) and i have great parents and siblings (and that goes for the ones i got from dan too). today i just feel pretty lucky. maybe not that lucky, i now hear andrew crying. dan had only turned off the baby monitor earlier, so i THOUGHT he was asleep. but hes very much awake...so i better go. by the way, the reason there are so many pictures of abby, and like 2 with andrew, is because he wouldn't sit still long enough to get any. luckily we got one good one of him.
